Homework this week:

Students will be given a homework plan for this week's homework in class on Tuesday. Please ask your child to see the homework plan. As always, we try our best to stick to homework plan for the week. Homework, however, may change due to students' learning needs. Changes will be announced in class. Students are responsbile for noting changes in due dates and assignments.

Everyday = Read for 30 mins. We are moving to a monthly reading log. Please ask your child to the see the January reading log. (It will look like a blank January calendar). The January log is due on Monday January 26th. Reading logs must be signed by a parent or guardian. Students should complete the log daily.

Monday: Continue to work on Science Fair experiments and write-ups. Your experiment needs to be completed by Thursday; Study for Spelling Bee

Tuesday: Experiment write-up (students will begin/revise/edit in class, write up is due Thursday 1/8); Study for Spelling Bee

Wednesday: Experiment write-up (due Thursday); Science Fair poster board due 1/14; Study for Spelling Bee

Thursday: Current Events project topic due Tuesday 1/13; Science Fair poster board due 1/14

Friday: Current Events project topic due Tuesday 1/13; Science Fair poster board due 1/14

***NWEA math test is Monday and Tuesday 1/12 and 1/13. Get lots of rest and think positive thoughts over the weekend.
